Kempton City comprises of an existing shopping centre situated in Kempton Park which is surrounded by five level apartment blocks on two elevations.
The first phase of the Project entails refurbishing of the existing 173 apartments, and constructing a new apartment Block of approximately 200 apartments. A small retail component is also to be constructed.
The second phase comprises constructing of additional apartments Blocks.
The Project commenced with demolition of the existing shopping centre in July 2008, and is scheduled to have Phase 1 completed early 2010.
The construction cost is projected to approximately R126 million.
